This is where Melanie takes her cue for the existing accessories and furnishing in the room. She then adds light medium and dark values to compliment each space creating depth, warmth beauty and balance to the home. At the conclusion of the visit, you’ll receive paint swatches of each color selection to keep as a reference.

Recently Melanie became a certified Dewey Paint color consultant and instructor. As a Dewey Color consultant Melanie will select precise color combinations for each homeowner that reflect and inspire their personal taste and personality, providing them with sacred spaces in the home. The Dewey color consultation is much more entailed and involves more time and evaluation. You will be emailed a personality color test prior to the appointment. It is suggested that each spouse (or decision maker) take the color test. After they have implemented their chosen colors, they will acquire their selected strengths (i.e. discipline, focus, resourcefulness and so forth) and gain the impetus to better relate to and challenge the world around them. These colors are then implemented into the home décor. The Dewey Color systems fool proof methodology not only creates a harmonious environment but improves the daily lives of each client.
